How does the two stop light system in downtown Manchester differ from the light bank found in a city, where six or seven yellow lights in a row can be found? Give me a concrete example (Dubuque, CR, etc.) and your belief about what factors can change.
Text your group hypothesis to me regarding the use of the final yellow light simulation found on the last blog post. You need to explore safety and stopping mechanism, or stopping mechanism and flow rate in some way.
Write your whiteboard up with a procedure and a data table.

there is not as many people stopping and going, and with all the stop lights there is a bigger possibility that there would be an accident.
Big cities have more
* Roads
* People
* Traffic
* Crosswalks
you have more time to wait because the traffic lights have different changing times...like in ceader rapids there are like 6 lights and like two of the same lanes can go to one plae(like turn left at the same time)ands there are more people on tehe roads...
Because with more stop lights people can be safer. they less speed up time so they are going kind of slow.
This is Tea and i think the difference between the lights here in Manchester and the lights in CR is that Manchester is allot smaller so the lights aren't as big as big.
It has only 2 stop lights so people can get past those two lights and go free from there ♫
where there are many lights you can get through one and then hit another, so people are less able to go as fast through town.☻
the latter is only used where there alot of people and and former is used when there are enough people there that lights are needed, but not enough to keep them that slow.☺
--I think that it would differ in chicago because if not informed about the different street system you might get in a accident
ex-Waterloo,Chicago etc--
The lights in Manchester have a shorter time that they7 are green because there isn't that much to much traffic.
The lights in Dubuque are different because they have more traffic so they stay green longer.
My belief is the lights can change the time they stay green yellow and red.
-in dubuque the lights might last longer because there is heavier trafic and need to let more cars through
ex-waterloo,chicago,des monies
-how long the lights last
on in manchester only changes when a car is sitting there or the button is pushed. the other one is i think on like a 5 min thing or something? the ones in like CR are probably made so that they are all green then one by on turn yellow. then reed. i think?
Because in Manchester there isn't as much traffic then in Cr or Dubuque or even Des moines. The lights in bigger cities stay on longer than the ones in smaller cities. Some factors can be that the larger the light post is the shorter the changes between green,yellow and red.
there isnt as many peole stopping and going, and weith all the stop lights there is a bigger possibility that there would be an accident.
It tells when the turning lane can turn and the straight lane can go. i am not sure what a light bank is but i think it is a light where all turn red or yellow or green. It can be fond in waterloo.
In Manchester there is not as much traffic as a Cedar Rapids. In Cedar Rapids they need a faster way to get around so there is a even flow of traffic. Lights change quicker.
They have the lights on pole and we have them hanging in the air by wire.
ex. Dubuque, CR
in manchester there are not very many people and you get through fast in C.R. it takes a little wile to get through
theres more chance to get in a wreck or something to go wrong in a bigger city.
In Manchester there isn't a lot of traffic so you don't need a lot of stop lights just stop signs. But like in CR there is lots of traffic so there are a lot of stop lights to keep the traffic at a steady flow.
